Centerfold! Ellen and Michael Albertson

Authors of the best-selling cook book and romance guide Food as Foreplay: Recipes for Romance, Love and Lust.

Hosts of the best tasting radio on the dial, The Cooking Couple™.

Ellen holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Boston University's Sargent College of Allied Health. In addition to her career as a health and nutrition journalist (recent articles have appeared in Self, Better Homes & Gardens, Woman's Day the Boston Herald, Taste of Life, American Health and Natural Health), she is a Registered Dietitian who provides consulting services to hospitals and private clients. Ellen lectures widely on food and nutrition with particular emphasis on healthy eating and creative cheating for a well-balanced body and psyche.

Michael worked his way from dishwasher to chef in the restaurant business prior to embarking on a second career as a stand-up comedian, full-time husband and romantic connoisseur. Michael has performed under the name Lou Michaels at such venues as Catch A Rising Star, Stitches, The Comedy Connection, Rodney Dangerfield's and The New York Comedy Club. Michael has also written for a number of publications including Playboy, the Boston Herald, Baby Magazine and Booming.

Ellen & Michael are the very proud parents of Alexandria Erica Albertson. Alexandria (we call her Alex) is three years old and already cooking. Mix one part milk with two parts oatmeal cookie, (feel free to substitute your favorite cookie) add honey and mix thoroughly. Add a dash of ketchup, ten frozen peas and one tablespoon of mashed potatoes and serve. Alex calls this recipe "Mock." We have no idea why. Never let your child eat Mock without a bib. Trust us on this one.
